Application Process Explained

Writing Your Application
This is obviously the first step, and while we can't help you very much when it comes to writing it, we can provide some helpful tips to make sure the process is as quick and painless as possible. When making an application, use the appropriate template (each found in a stickied thread), and mark your thread as "[Unfinished]" until you feel it's ready for review.

We highly recommend you use a word processor to edit your application and store a copy of it on your hard drive, as HTML forms can be fickle and decide to forget an hour's worth of work. We ask that you title your application thread in the following format:

Last Name, First Name - Race

First Pass
When you have decided that your application is finished—and by all means, take your time—indicate that it is finished in the title and bump the thread if you feel it's necessary.

A staff member will provide feedback and possibly suggest changes to make the application suitable. If you disagree, feel free to discuss it, but be civil; we want your character approved as much as you do.

Initial Approval
When you finish editing your application (or, if no edits were required, skip that particular step), the same staff member will proclaim your application ready for a second opinion, and stamp it with an initial approval and recommended rank.

Final Approval
After an initial approval is issued, a second staff member will review the application, and if no problems are encountered, your application will be issued a final approval and your character will be assigned an appropriate rank and your starting GP.

Getting Ready to RP
With your approved character, you'll be asked to make a corresponding Stat and Technique thread in the proper forum, found here, where you'll also find the instructions.
